Matthew is an effective advocate for energy development with a determined focus on renewable energy, efficiency and resiliency, recognised across Australia as a successful innovator in local energy, energy transition and building energy resilience.

Matthew has worked with industry partners to develop innovative approaches to community solar, including two community microgrids in his hometown of Yackandandah.

While he has been involved in the technical aspects of community solar, Matthew's real skill is in building strong, personal and productive relationships with communities, business and all levels of government to work towards energy transition.
