In April, the DisasterWISE community came together for our monthly online Get-Together focused on "Community Scale Energy Solutions." We were joined by Matthew Charles-Jones, founding member and past president of Totally Renewable Yackandandah (TRY), who shared insights into how communities can better prepare for energy crises and explore sustainable alternatives. Matthew discussed TRY's journey toward powering their Victorian community with 100% renewable energy, highlighting the importance of community-led initiatives in building resilience. If you want to connect with others exploring community-led initiatives and projects, visit the DisasterWISE Learning Network Platform.
