In September, we hosted a DisasterWISE Get-Together, where we dived into the power of community resilience mapping and other practical ways to surface local strengths, relationships, risks, and resources.

Friends of the Earth – Melbourne's Act on Climate joined us to share:

- How mapping has helped communities lead their own recovery

- Tested methods developed by community, for community

- Stories from communities using this approach to shift power and shape action

Whether people had already been mapping their place or were just beginning to explore, it was a space to connect, learn, and share together.
